“Curing” Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is different from the most common form of arthritis called osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis is caused by a process similar to the thinning of the brake disc on your wheels. Cartilage that normally cushions bones wears down. Joints first start to become stiff, then they become painful. This type arthritis is common in the knees and hips. Arthrogrow, my arthritis formula, will reverse this type arthritis. It requires a prescription from your doctor.

RA is different in that the joint cartilage is being attacked by the immune system. Diseases in which the immune system is over active in a specific tissue site are called “auto immune” diseases”. We’ve learned that the cause of these diseases is not an overactive immune system, but an immune system that is incompetent at hunting down and killing certain germs. These germs (critters) overgrow and try to hide inside certain cells. This is where the immune system will attack and cause inflammation–the immune system’s war against germs. The symptoms come from the immune system releasing its “weapons of mass destruction”. In MS, the “war” is in nerve cells. In asthma, the war is in the lungs. In Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, the war is in the thyroid gland. In psoriasis/acne/eczema, it’s the skin. In irritable bowel/Crohn’s/ulcerative colitis, the war is in the gut.

Conventional therapy focuses on shutting down the immune system. In addition to increasing cancer risk, this can unleash other germs/critters that are normally kept in check by the immune system. One such virus is the JC virus. This virus normally lives in everyone’s brain. When certain drugs are used to treat RA (Enbrel, Remicade) the immune system can be weakened enough to unleash this virus. Once it starts growing, it turns the brain to oatmeal. The disease is called Progressive Multifocal Leukoencephalopathy (PML).

A better approach to autoimmune disease is to strengthen the immune system so that it effectively kills the germ that is the root cause of the problem. This requires changing what you eat, supplements that boost the immune system, and making sure thyroid levels are optimum. RA attacks the small joints in the fingers and initially causes them to swell. This creates a thickened appearance of the fingers at the base, with tapering as you go toward the finger nails. This is seen in the first picture below. A month later this swelling is gone as is the pain associated with RA and no use of any drug. She can get her wedding ring off now. The same concept is used to treat psoriasis, acne or any other autoimmune disease. Your body produces the “cure”.
