Going Against The Grain

Most health conditions treated in the U.S. are a result of inflammation. Inflammation is the war between your immune system and critters that over grow when you have excess sugar in your body. Its not different from having roaches because of having a dirty kitchen. Anywhere there is free food left out,critters will over grow. Your body is no different. With this in mind,you want to avoid foods that raise your blood sugar levels. Most grain products on supermarket shelves(corn,wheat,rice) turn to sugar very quickly after you eat them. White flour(loaf bread,biscuits,buns,bagels,muffins,pastries,donuts,pancakes,pasta) raises blood sugar higher than actual sugar. Start incorporating healthier grain alternatives. Whole oats and black/red rice are in this category.
