Sprains, Strains & Black Seed Oil Packs

One thing I routinely saw in the emergency room this time of year were injuries to adults who had sat around since October. They’d get in a game of baseball, volleyball, etc. or hop on the kid’s skateboard and put more stress on de-conditioned muscles/ligaments/tendons than was sustainable. Soft tissues like these can “freeze up” from lack of constant circulation. A sudden stress can cause them to snap like a dry twig. These are sprains/strains.

The standard treatment, after an X-ray showed no fracture, was the R. I. C. E. Protocol – Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation. Patients were also told to use products like ibuprofen/naproxen for pain. The objective was to inhibit inflammation – the Intelligent Design mechanism put in place for healing. A similar approach is taken with fever. We give drugs to stop the process that served to keep mankind alive millions of years before Man became smarter than God.

If you’re still using or recommending R. I. C. E. and anti-inflammatory drugs, give a listen to the video above discussing how Intelligent Design works to heal these type injuries. The basic message is “garbage out – nutrients in”. Your immune system response is production of cytokines that open blood and lymph passages to flush toxins out and allow nutrients to come in. We should facilitate that process, not inhibit it.

This is why we see such dramatic results with black seed oil packs (See “castor oil pack” protocol. Substitute black seed oil). The heat given with the packs facilitates the opening up of lymph and blood vessel channels so that “garbage” can be flushed out and nutrients/building blocks can be delivered. Black seed oil is full of nutrients (amino acids and essential fats) that rebuild soft tissues. Black seed oil also delivers germ fighters that keep critters from invading these wounds. Critter invasion will promote excess inflammation.

My new recommendation for sprains/strains – apply black seed oil pack for 45 minutes each day and move or massage area to further increase circulation.
